Stop Landmines

The video we watched was telling us how land mines can hurt people. It's actually a sad story if that really happens. I wasn't shocked or anything since I think the video itself is not real. It could not have occurred in the States. However, the film is trying to tell us that if this really took place in your country, would you stand for it. It's a excellent way to express this idea. If I was one of the parents, I would be extremely scared and worried when that happened. It's horrible if this occurred anywhere in the world, not only U.S, I think this is what the film is trying to tell us. This terrible clip can be true in many places around the world, such as Africa, Colombia and Asia. I'm glad to see that the U.N is really doing something to help like advertisements. Nonetheless, I don't like the video itself.

yea, I know, it's so FAKE!! come on, people have been running on that grass for ages, and if not, then the person or people who planted and pruned the grass certainly stepped on every single place. I thought the UN was good, after seeing this, UN.....I'm speechless......

I lived in Pakistan for three years and one of our students at the school I worked was killed in a suicide bomb attack. Three men walked into a church and threw in hand grenades. It's really hard to imagine until you are in the situation itself.

It is funny how we automatically think The U.S.

I actually thought that the video was based in the UK. To me the whole atmosphere was very British. Having said that I agree that we need to bring this home - but it seems that we are so desensitized that even when we show something that should be so horrific we are still not shocked... I wonder what it will take to make us react and do something.....
